Bio
Christian Neloms is a Black American designer and photographer based in Texas. He studied graphic design at Lamar University in Beaumont, Tx, and received his BFA in 2022. His works can be seen in books, websites, and brochures. His style ranges from digital image manipulation using the adobe suite to long-exposure photography forms such as light painting, double exposure, and time lapse.
Born in Houston, Tx, Neloms spent his childhood years inspired by the colorful street art (graffiti, murals, etc. ) on the urban streets of Houston; the monotone panelization of gritty comics and graphic novels such as big hero 6, Heroes, Watch Men, and Daniel X that he read in his youth. Growing up in such a capacity played a significant role in developing Neloms' art style, which is realized in his works today.
